SMEG Universale Aesthetic Built-In Island Decorative Hood, KIV90XE (89.8 x 56 x 70 cm)
Product Details
The SMEG Universale Aesthetic Built-In Island Decorative Hood, KIV90XE, offers sleek, hidden extraction for island kitchens with both vented and recirculated options.
Features
- Built-In Island Design: Ideal for installation in island units, providing a clean, modern look by hiding the extractor when not in use.
- Downdraft Extractor: Discreetly installed under the worktop behind or beside the hob for seamless integration into your kitchen design.
- Vented or Recirculated Options: Can be set up for either venting or recirculation, depending on your kitchen’s layout and ducting setup.
- Venting Requirements: If venting, ducting must pass under flooring, behind cupboards, or along the back of cabinets for proper airflow.
- Ducting Consideration: The length and number of turns in ducting may affect extraction performance, important to consider during kitchen planning.
- Recirculation Recommendation: For installations with long or complex ducting, recirculation is recommended to maintain optimal performance.
- Compatibility with Hobs: Suitable for use with induction or ceramic hobs in both venting and recirculation modes.
- Gas Hob Limitation: For gas hobs, venting out is the only option to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Seamless Integration: The hood can be fully hidden when not in use, maintaining a streamlined, clutter-free kitchen design.
- Space-Saving Solution: Perfect for island kitchens, maximizing space by installing beneath the countertop.
- Versatile Setup: Allows for flexible kitchen layouts, supporting various hob types and ducting configurations.
- Elegant Aesthetic: Part of SMEG’s Universale Aesthetic range, adding a sleek and sophisticated touch to your kitchen. High-Performance Extraction: Designed to handle kitchen odors efficiently while staying hidden until needed.
