    Features

    • Euphorbia millii is a succulent climbing shrub growing to 1.8 m tall, with densely spiny stems
    • The straight, slender spines help it scramble over other plants
    • The leaves are found mainly on new growth
    • The flowers are small, petal-like bracts, variably red, pink, yellow or white
    • 'Giant Thai Red' sports larger flowers than the species with red bracts that are about 1 inch across and are borne in axillary cymes
    • It is a continuous bloomer throughout the year
    • In the warmer months, this plant will flower and the small flower heads will last until the temperature starts to fall
    • They may become dormant as it gets cooler and the daytime light reduces
